Description

Dated 1803 with additions of 1871 and 1912. Classical
2-storey basement and attic, 5-window ashlar front. Slightly
advanced end bays with 2 consoled and corniced windows at
ground floor level; centre columned porch, decorative swag
and urn relief work at entablature, segmentally arched
fanlight doorpiece. Railed steps shaped and splayed to dies
with urns; painted and rusticated basement, harled and
pinkwashed gables. W front has 2 ground floor canted oriels
with shouldered openings, low broad 3-storey and basement
tower to rear, flat-roofed with ball-finials. Main cornice
and blocking course. Slated platformed roof, 2 segment-headed
dormers on front elevation.

Statement of Interest

Divided into flats. Restored and in good condition, grounds

now form a housing estate.
