Description

Dated 1861. Large detached mansion, coursed rubble with
raised margins. 2-storey and dormerless attic, double-gabled
S front, 1-window between 2-storey canted bays with fanciful
gothic cast-iron parapets, attic bipartites above; centre
consoled doorpiece, moulded and slightly shouldered openings;
4-window on W front, centre 2 advanced as broad central gable
with tripartites, ground floor pair slightly advanced with
continuous iron balcony over; attic window unfortunately
altered. Single-storey double-gabled E wing with sculptured
panels in gables, broad-eaved slated roofs, octagonal chimney
shafts at apices of gables.
