Description

Circa 1852 probably by Brown and Wardrop. Scots Baronial,
Snecked rubble. 2-storey crowstepped lodge on west with round
tower and conical fish-scale slated roof with finial.
Entrance is single storey porch to rear (ie south), adjoining
window on curved angle corbelled to square. Depressed arch
buttressed gateway with stepped parapet and central panel,
rope hoodmould smaller answering tourelle on east side.
Curved snecked rubble flanking walls with coping, and
ball caps at terminals. Original timber and wrot-iron gates.
Original 12-pane sashes.
