Early to earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house adjoining St Catharine's Episcopal Church. Squared and coursed rubble with harl to side. Eaves course.
SW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Panelled timber door with decoratively-astragalled fanlight to centre bay at ground, windows in flanking bays and regular fenestration to 1st floor.
SE ELEVATION: plain gabled elevation.
12-pane glazing pattern in replacement timber sash and case windows. Grey slates. Coped brick stacks (see Notes) with cans; ashlar-coped skews with block skewputts; cast-iron downpipe with decorative rainwater hopper.
INTERIOR: some moulded cornices and shutters, timber staircase.
There is evidence of early alteration to the NW elevation adjoining St Catharine's Church with a slightly higher, set-back gablehead. The house was purchased by St Catharine's Church in 1991.
