Probably 1830/40, perhaps incorporating an existing
house. Picturesque villa set high above main road. Single
storey with raised basement and with attic. Whin rubble with
contrasting long-and-short worked yellow ashlar dressings: timber-mullioned and transomed windows with original
small-paned glazing. 3-bay main (south east) elevation has
shallow advanced wide gable left, bowed at ground, with
cast-iron balustrade over; inner doorway approached by
steps, recessed door with fanlight; stone wallhead dormer
right. Parapet; shaped and finialed skews; end stacks;
slate roofs.

Hon Charles Fleming, and then by George Gillespie of Biggar
Park in 1820.
