Description

Single storey cottage, 4 (1 + 3 symmetrical) bays, early/
mid 19th century in appearance, but containing 18th walling.
Long range of outbuildings linked to rear. COTTAGE has
been rendered to street, stone margins now recessed; door,
outer windows each with horizontal glazing pattern retained.
End stacks, slate roof. To rear, exposed stonework and
evidence of heightening.
OUTBUILDINGS are of various dates, mainly 19th century
and pantile-roofed. Low range nearest cottage (byre) looks
18th century, cobbled drainage channel survives; white
washed rubble-built walls; other ranges contain stable and
loose box, former with cast-iron and timber trevis; these
ranges rubble and brick, small-paned windows; sheds beyond,
brick and timber, not included on listing.
Cobbled courtyard.
