Description

Dated 1900. 2-storey corner block with 2 bays to Low Street and 4 to Bridge Street with entrance in curved and recessed angle bay. Bull-faced granite with tooled granite dressings and concrete crenellated wallhead. Regular fenestration with long ground floor windows, doorway flanked by windows in Bridge Street elevation (No. 48 Bridge Street). Double-leaf panelled doors. Plate glass glazing in ground floor windows, 2-pane timber sash and case in 1st floor. Continuous tooled granite fascia band above ground floor windows, similar band course above 2nd floor windows, below concrete crenellated wallhead with datestone at angle. Tall corniced chimney stacks.
