Description

1820-30. 3-storey and dormerless attic, wide 4-bay building with ground floor altered to accommodate modern shop fronts. Grey granite ashlar frontage, harl-pointed rubble rear. Single off-centre round-headed doorway with fanlight and panelled door squeezed between shop fronts with modern glazing and fascias. Regular fenestration in lst and 2nd floors; 4 large consoled corniced lst floor windows with moulded jambs and shallow panelled aprons; plain, smaller 2nd floor windows. 12-pane glazing in lst floor timber sash and case windows, renewed 16-pane uPVC glazing in 2nd floor.

Corniced end and rear ridge stacks; slate roof with modern rooflights. 2 wings project at rear. Some modern windows and glazing in 2nd floor at rear; otherwise 12-pane glazing survives.
