Description

Early to mid 18th century. 2-storey and attic range abutting rear

of Museum. Harled, ashlar margins.

Irregular N and S long elevations on sloping site with doorway in N elevation (off High Street); further ground and lst floor entrances (with forestair) in S elevation, reached through pend and garden. 4 swept dormers break wallhead in S elevation. Symmetrical E gable to garden with paired windows in each floor, apex stack and crowsteps. 12-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows; slate roof.

Restored in l969-71 as 2 dwellings by J J Meldrum, architect, Banff.
