Later 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay villa on corner site, with recessed bay to left. Ashlar entrance elevation; squared and stugged sandstone to sides. Base course; timber eaves course. 1st floor windows break eaves to form gables.
NW (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central square-headed entrance; stepped hoodmould encloses armorial panel; single window aligned above at 1st floor; small round-arched window aligned above at attic; tripartite windows flanking at ground floor; single windows at 1st floor. 2-leaf door at ground floor with gablet over to recessed bay to outer left; single window at 1st floor.
SW (BELLEVUE ROAD) ELEVATION: 7-bay, grouped 2-2-2-1. Advanced mullioned and transomed advanced quadripartite window bay to outer left, single window to re-entrant angle to left; glazed door to re-entrant angle to right; 2 single windows at 1st floor (blind window to left) single window at attic. 2 single windows at ground, 1st and gabled attic dormers to recessed central bay. 2 single windows at ground floor; single window at 1st and attic floors to gabled bay to right; single window to re-entrant angle at 1st floor to left. Single window to single storey advanced section to outer right.
NE AND SE ELEVATIONS: not seen 1999.
Predominantly plate glass, 8-, 12- and 18-pane timber sash and case windows. Slate roof; corniced ridge and pitch stacks; circular cans. Cast-iron rainwater goods.
INTERIOR: decorative circular motifs to timber-railed staircase; decorative ceiling cornices; timber dado panelling.
GATEPIERS AND BOUNDARY WALL: square-plan gatepiers to SW elevation; coped boundary wall enclosing site.
A good example of larger scale villa architecture, notable for its distinctive interior cornice work, and bold exterior gables.
