Description

1858. 2 storey, 4-bay (to Princes Street) and 3-bay
(to Harbour Street) corner block. Painted stucco. Princes
Street; later door with segmental pedimented head, modern
windows to ground floor, original cornice above. Cill course
to 1st floor architraved windows, the 2 outer with triangular
pediments, the inner with segmental. Cornice, with panelled
parapet with decorative mouldings above.
Curved rusticated angle with clock in moulded frame
surmounting the parapet. Harbour Street: 2 storeys, 3 bays.
Door recessed in deeply rusticated cavetto moulded reveals,
with round-headed and keystone, flanked by rusticated
pilasters supporting a dentil cornice. Remaining details
as Princes Street.
No 5 adjoining, 2 storeys, 3 bays. Painted ashlar and
rusticated quoins. Central door with architraves and
entablature. All windows architraved, cill course, to 1st
floor. Above, <> roof.
