Earlier to mid 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay, L-plan traditional house. Chlorite-slate rubble with large quoins, projecting cills and slab lintels.
N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Modern door to centre at ground, windows in flanking bays and regular fenestration close to eaves at 1st floor.
E ELEVATION: blank elevation with gable to right.
W ELEVATION: plain gabled elevation.
N (REAR) ELEVATION: harled elevation, with variety of elements including gabled wing projecting to right with 2 dormerheaded windows on return to left and some openings enlarged.
Plate glass glazing in timber sash and case windows. Graded grey slates. Coped ashlar stacks with thackstanes and cans, some polygonal.
Group with 15-25, 35-45, 4-8, 12-16, 22-26 and 30-50 Kenmore Street. The present houses in Kenmore Street were built on the site of 18th century flax spinners cottages.
