Description

Late 19th century, 3 storey corner building with canted angle
bay, 2 bays to Union Street and return to Huntly Street.
Renaissance detail. Banded granite to ground floor, polished
above. Arched, cavetto moulded and keystoned ground floor
opening, 1 flat-headed door. Cornice over ground floor. Giant
Ionic engaged columns frame angle and flanking bays,
pedimented windows, pilasters flank the outer bays, remaining
windows keystoned.
Entablature above, scrolled brackets support octagonal cupola
with Ionic order framing arched openings, supporting stone
dome and finial.
