154 Hutcheon Street is shown as Maybank House on the 1st Edition OS Map. Good classical villa, now sadly engulfed by later buildings. This type of simple, well detailed villa is typical of Aberdeen in the early 19th century. Other notable examples include 9 Albyn Place (by Archibald Simpson) and Rosemount House (see separate listings).
