Description

Mid 19th century. pair 2 storey 4 bay buildings with
gable ends to road, placed behind free standing gate piers
to Balfour Castle, in position of lodges. Both have ends
with canted angles, corbelled to square at 1st floor.
No 23 harled, No 21 roughly coursed rubble.
Gable ends with bipartites at ground, single lights above.
Irregular fenestration on side elevations fronting
drive, each house with 2 wallhead stacks. Entrance on
elevation away from drive. Graded slate roofs.
