Description

William Mackenzie 1842. Tudor Gothic, T-plan with porch at S.
gable and pinnacled tower at centre of N. wall; Whinstone
with sandstone dressings. Interior has 4-centre arched
ceiling, largely refurnished 1923. Tapestry said to have been
in 1851 Exhibition. Bell 1711 recast 1878.

Ecclesiastical Building in use as such. The name of the

architect seems to have been obtained from the late

incumbent. The minute of the heritors in the cash book deals

only with the division of the seating.
