Architect probably David Rhind, 1853 (possibly remodelled
1885 by Watherston). Tudor Gothic stable range built around
quadrangular courtyard. Single storey with lofts,
Tudor-arched pend at foot of crenellated, 3-stage
square tower. North front: stugged coursers, polished
dressings (remainder rubble-built); mostly mullioned
square-headed windows gable to left with kneelers; off-set
top stage of tower with clock face in diamond panel.
Roofs mostly slated. Courtyard open at south also, behind
cart shed.
