Gabled "Elizabethan" mansion in Northumberland stone,
sandstone dressings, mullioned and transomed windows with
leaded casements framed in bronze, gable attics and centre
dormer, projectng 2-storey porch, symmetrical H plan the
service wing extending at side, slate ridges, Tudor stacks.
To rear, garden front has splayed bays, balustraded terrace.
Period interior, Austrian oak panelling and timbered ceilings.
