Description

Earlier to mid 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay (bays grouped

2-1), symmetrical, rectangular-plan cottage. Squared rubble with polished sandstone margins and dressings. Quoin strips.

W ELEVATION: door at centre, 6-pane upper glazed portion, blocked letterbox fanlight; wrought-iron overthrow , trellis porch; flanking windows. 3 half-piend roofed slate-hung dormers symmetrically disposed, that at centre smaller.

4 over 6 lying-pane sash and case windows; 4-pane sash and case windows for dormer. Grey slate roof, lead flashings; corniced sandstone apex stack at right end of roof.

RAILINGS: pointed, cast-iron arrowhead railings.
