Description

Late 18th century. Terraced pair of 3-bay houses forming part of

longer irregular terrace. Rendered with white painted timber lintels. Battered base course; modern hardwood panelled doors.

E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: 3-bay house to left: doorway in 2nd bay; window at 1st floor above; windows at ground and 1st floors with small window under eaves in 1st and 3rd bays from left. 3-bay house to right: doorway in 1st bay; windows at ground and 1st floors with small windows under eaves in 2nd bay; window at ground in 3rd bay.

S ELEVATION: blank except small stone block above 1st floor level at angle to outer right. Single storey structure with pitched corrugated iron roof adjoining to outer left.

12-pane sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; harled gablehead stack to S; broad brick gablehead stack to N; broad harled ridge stack. OUTBUILDINGS: steeply pitched grey slate roof to outbuilding to NW; corrugated iron roof to single storey outbuilding to W.

Forms part of Main Street B Group extending on W side from Hillview to Frandor.
