Circa 1813. Single storey former toll-house with canted elevation, now shop, at end of terrace. Painted rubble. Painted margins.
S ELEVATION: canted. Door to SE. Window to SW. Brick square-plan projection to S, with rubble base; square display window to each face.
E (CREEBRIDGE) ELEVATION: square display window to left, window to right.
W ELEVATION: lean-to painted brick extension adjoined, with window to right to S, and door and window to W.
N ELEVATION: adjoined to No 4 Creebridge (see separate listing).
Plate glass display windows. Half-piend roof, with slightly swept eaves. Graded grey-green slates.
The street of Creebridge is shown on the "Plan of Newton Stewart" of 1805 but the Toll-house is not. The Toll-house presumably came into operation after 1813 when Cree Bridge was built.
