Description

Circa 1800, row of 2-storey houses with timber canted bays to front added later 19th century. Houses dramatically sited projecting into the harbour on a raised square plot with whitewashed castellated retaining sea wall.

Houses: painted rubble with 2-storey canted timber fronted bay windows flanking door. Rosnay with 4-pane sash and case windows, Sea Breeze with modern casement, plate glass windows.

Coped end stacks, sandstone ridge, good graded slate roofs. Rosnay with modern tiles to piended bay window roofs, Sea Breeze with slates and cast-iron finials.

Rear elevations sheer above water. Painted rubble, single windows flank central long stair light. Mixed glazing, some sash and case 12-pane, some modern.

Sea Wall: Long painted rubble wall with castellated top acts as retaining wall and garden walls to houses.
