Description

Later 19th century. Plain hall church. Rubble-built, red sandstone ashlar to angles and margins. Lancet windows throughout. Hoodmoulds eo E gable pointed-arch door, and flanking lancets hoodmoulded, cusped oculus over door. Corbelled bellcote at gable apex. W gable 3 windows flank on. 10-pane glazing. Flat sandstone skews, scroll skewputts to W, skew blocks to E, slate roofs, ashlar ridge. Finial to W gable. Wrought iron railings.

Statement of Interest

Ecclesiastical building no longer in use as such, currently as antigue shop (1992). Bellcore may have come from Old Parish Church.
