Description

Mid 19th century, contemporary with Danestone House, possibly gardener's cottage.

Single storey L-plan, with rear wing to W. Gothic. Granite rubble, harled to main 3-bay (S) entrance elevation, undressed grey granite margins, brick at quoins; pitched slated roof; tall, diagonally-set square stacks over gables.

S ELEVATION: 3-bay, entrance porch projecting at centre, with pointed arched entrance; pointed arched single light windows flanking, original sash and case glazing replaced with modern uPVC. Glazing to rear rectangular window also lost, replaced with picture window.

The Category C(S) reflects the recent alterations to the glazing pattern which is detrimental to the character of the building.
