Mid/later 19th century house, said to have been built for blacksmith. Single-storey and attic. Asymmetrical with 3-bay L-plan front, porch with lean-to roof at re-entrant angle. Rubble with ashlar rybats and
dressings - bipartites on ground floor; single-light attic opening in front gable with ashlar margins. Plate glass sashes. End and axial stacks. Slate roof unsympathetically cut back at eaves (probably broad- eaved originally with timber brackets). Enclosed by original 19th century iron fence and gate.
Associated range of single-storey rubble-built outbuildings are altered, but appear to incorporate an early structure. B Group with Smiddy.
