Probably Thomas Hannan, circa 1835, enlargement of earlier
cottage. Pink rubble with ashlar dressings and chamfered
arrises to openings. Crowstepped gables.
N-S ARM: single storey, 3-bay with doorway to E flanked by
windows and with window to W side.
E-W ARM: 2-storey at S with ground and 1st floor windows to E
and W gables.
Gabled porch with depressed arch opening set in re-entrant
angle at W, with doorway altered to window. Late 19th century
brick outbuilding abutting N gable. Small-pane and hoizontal
pane glazing to casement windows. Beak skewputts and 1 finial
retained. Slate roof. Gabled timber dormer added to W pitch
of single storey cottge.
