Central pavilion (pedimented; Palladian window at 2nd storey over modern projecting vestibule) Rear: Harled. Central bow-window with crenellated parapet) WINGS: Added c.1815. 2 storeys and garret; 2 bays. Cornice. INTERIOR: Good rooms and scale- and-platt stair.
Built for General John Campbell 17th of Strachur, C in C, North America. He was succeeded by his sister Janet wife of Colin Campbell of Ederline.
