Tagged with: Cross slab
Possibly 9th century. Cross slab, 4'8" (1.422m) high with raised Celtic cross and boss detail to each side.
Relocated to the current site in 1950 when the Hydro-Electric Scheme flooded land adjacent to the former site, Margaret Barbour referred to this slab as 'the Priest's Stone' at 'Chapelton of Clunie', foundations of which are located nearby to the N.
