Description

Probably built circa 1830. Rectangular-plan 3-bay plain church. Coursed, roughly-squared rubble and dressings. Round-headed windows with latticed glazing pattern, 2 lights in north gable; gabled, rendered porch on south gable. Slate roof. Interior; central, long communion table retained (a rarity), with 2 panelled pews enclosing it; polygonal pulpit, steps with ornamental wrought and cast-iron balustrade.

Statement of Interest

Ecclesiastical building in use as such. The central communion table is an unusual survival. Upgraded from category C(s) to B 28.10.04 after re-evaluation of the interior and rare communion table.
