John Farquharson of Haddington, circa 1875. Rectangular
plan, single storey and attic house. Squared and
snecked, stugged sandstone with droved dressings and
chamfered reveals. Overhanging eaves. Kingposts and
barge boards to porch and attic dormers.
SE ELEVATION: 3-bay, symmetrical. Gabled porch at centre
with shouldered lintel; boarded door; flanked by
hoodmoulded windows at ground, attic windows breaking
eaves in gabled dormerheads.
NW ELEVATION: 4-pane glazing pattern to sash and case
windows. End stacks. Purple slates.
Manager's House to Eastfield Farm (former Home
Farm of Whittingehame Estate), across road to S, Farm
cottages to NE.
