Description

Circa 1800. Single storey, rectangular-plan, cottage and former bothy. Dry dashed rubble masonry, stone slate roof, coped brick stacks to ridge and gableheads. 2- and 4-pane glazing patern, some sash and case windows.

W ELEVATION: 3-bay cottage at right; door at centre, 2 flanking windows. 3-bay former bothy at left; window at left, small pane, centre pivot window at centre, larger top-hopper window at right. Flat-roofed garage addition at left return.

E ELEVATION: corrugated sheet metal lean-to at left, small 4-pane window to cottage; former bothy slightly recessed at right.

INTERIOR: 3 original doors in hall, full height boarded walling in living room and bedroom, and bedroom ceiling; 19th centiry chimneypiece in bedroom, earler 20th century range in living room.

GARDEN WALLS: rubble garden walls at S and E.
