Description

1820-30 single storey 3-bay and attic cottage with door
central both on east and on west elevations; parallel
outbuilding to west dated 1847. All rubble-built and
whitewashed with contrasting painted (mostly ashlar) margins.
Cottage: east (garden) elevation: panelled door with
rectangular fanlight; sash windows with 12-pane glazing; 2
piended canted dormers; west-facing openings have rubble
margins except one altered window. Straight skews; corniced
end stacks; roofed with graded slates. Lean-to and modern
conservatory adjoin south gable.
Outbuilding: 2 storeys, 4 bays; doors and small-paned
windows; garage (former carriage house); 2 small bull's eye
windows on north gable with datestone above. Single end
stack; slate roof.
