Mid 19th century. Rustic octagonal-plan timber-built small
summerhouse. Steep-pitched facetted slate roof supported on
tree trunks; 3 open (roughly east-facing) bays, remaining
bays constructed with split branches laid in geometric
patterns, both to exterior and to interior face; roof
interior is similarly treated, and includes some matting to
provide contrasting effect. Seats along walls also made with
matting. Cobbled floor.
