Description

Earlier/mid 19th century. 2-storey house with former shop.
4 (3+1) bays, door central on 3-bay part. Polished red ashlar
with rusticated quoins; ground floor painted. Recessed
panelled door with rectangular fanlight in pilastered
doorcase; shop (to right) now forms part of house, with sash
windows (1 bipartite); shop fascia removed, but pilasters
survive. Sash windows throughout with 12-pane glazing.
Eaves/lintel band. Straight skews; corniced end stacks;
roofed with graded slates; roof swept over late 19th century
pink rubble-built rear outshot.
