Earlier 19th century 2-storey, 3-bay house with single storey cottage range to either flank (latter perhaps near contemporary, but raised later in century). All whinstone rubble with red ashlar margins. House has 2 inner doors (shop at left): 2 centre-doored cottages to north range, 4 2-bay cottages to south range. All windows have 12 panes, including shop window (others all sashes). Saw-toothed west most skew: coped end stacks: slated roofs.
