Late 18th/early 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay farmhouse
with steading adjoining east gable. North-facing, and built
of whitewashed rubble with painted ashlar margins. House:
(sunk basement at west) gabled central (brick) porch not
original; single windows with sashes, 12-pane glazing at
ground, mostly 6-pane glazing to square 1st floor windows,
and timber dormer heads; straight skews; corniced end
stacks. Steading: 2 single-storey, 3-bay units; byre/shed
(2 doors and window) adjoins house; taller barn beyond with
single loft window above single square-headed cartway.
Mill gearing survives on east gable. Slate roofs.
