Circa 1815. Unusual roadbridge spanning deep gully, low
tunnel arch over Holehouse Linn with retaining wing walls
above linn on either side; subsidiary dry arches - that to N
wider. All rubble-built, with ashlar parapet coping. Upper
part of bridge rebuilt circa 1983.
