Dated 1843. Granite obelisk monument, approximately 15ft high with moulded hand on apex. Inscribed 'to the memory of William Herron, John Gordon, William Stewart and John Wallace who were shot by Capt Bruce, 1685.' Rubble walled enclosure a few hundred yards distant with gravestones of the martyrs.
