Earlier 19th century. Rectangular-plan, walled garden on sloping site (approximately 6300m2). Coped rubble walls enclosing site; red brick inner lining to N wall. GREENHOUSES: Mackenzie and Moncur. 3 semi gabled greenhouses adjoining N wall; timber framing on brick base; finial to gablehead of central greenhouse. GATE: decorative iron gate to S elevation.
Possibly created as part of the earlier 19th century William Burn estate for Dunskey. The garden and greenhouses are currently undergoing extensive restoration work. Original stone drains in use (information from council).
