Description

1800. Rectangular, rough ashlar granite with cherry-cocking,
N. wall blank, rubble. Straight skews with skewputts, birdcage
bellcote with ball-finial at W. gable. S. wall originally 2
round-headed windows with small square headed windows either
side, E. window raised to match arched windows, U-plan gallery
reduced to W. gallery and chancel formed 1902-3 Wm. Reid
(Fraserburgh) Pieter Seest bell, dated 177(?3). Raven Stone
within church, symbol stone, blue mica schist 3'8" x 2'4" with
eagle 2 legged rectangle with hollows and Z-rod.
