Description

Late 18th century. Single storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan, symmetrical cottage. Random rubble yellow sandstone with squared lintels, rybats and quoins. Split, timber door to centre flanked by large rectangular 24-pane windows.

Corrugated-iron roof. Coped skews and gable end stacks.

INTERIOR: completely gutted; used as storehouse.

Statement of Interest

A typical late 18th century 'improved cottage' featuring unusual 24-pane window casements. Now used as a stores outhouse to neighbouring mid 19th century farm house.
