Perhaps mid 18th century. Single storey cottage with interior unmodernised since before first World War. Rubble-built with roughly-squared dressings. 3 wide bays, with off-centre door

reaching eaves level; sash windows. Skews; end stacks;

pantile roof. Interior: earthen floors; timber box beds;

19th and early 20th century furnishings. Hanging lum.

Stone-built building adjoining south gable now a garage.

Last occupant was Maggie Duthie, who died in 1941.
