Circa 1800. Octagonal-plan, single storey gate lodge; harled with ashlar margins, base course and eaves course. 2-leaf boarded door to W, window to each elevation; blocked to S.
Sash and case windows with 12-pane glazing pattern. Grey slates to octagonal roof, central, rubble coped octagonal stack.
GATES AND GATEPIERS: pier adjoined to S face, with railings extending to pair of ashlar gatepiers with ball finials each with engaged columns and supporting wrought-iron 2-leaf gates with spear-headed railings.
2 additional piers to E and W of lodge terminating railings.
