1666. Originally rectangular, 2-storey 3-window centre
flanked by narrow 1-window wings with shaped jerkin head
gables (centre door was framed in Ionic pilasters, elliptical
window above and elliptical window at 1st); semi-circular
entrance porch corbelled to square at attic level, corner
turret and centre rear addition, interior completely recast
1855. (details suggest James Matthews) 1688 stone (from
Inverurie area) and a few other fragments in garden.
Sundial (17th century obelisk type) removed by late owner.
