Probably 16th century. 3-storey, small roofless L-plan tower
house on naturally mounded site. Harl pointed rubble, roughly
tooled dressings. Re-entrant angle in NW; narrow doorway in S
elevation with relieving arch. Later roofless addition at E.
INTERIOR: vaulted undercroft with mural hearth. 1st floor
hall.
Masked skewputt, probably of 16th century date and from
castle, re-used on Mains of Findochty farm steading.
