Built in 1774, the old bridge that formerly carried the Edinburgh-Moffat highway over the Lynne Water has recently been by-passed. Consists of a single segmental arch over the main stream with two subsidiary arches on the left bank over flood-channels.
The village is prettily situated and forms an attractive group.
