Ross and Macbeth, 1899. Gothic. Red sneck coursed rubble,
contrasting tooled ashlar dressings. Orientated east/west,
with projecting gabled porch at SW and Minster's Room at NE.
5-bay buttressed flanks with hoodmoulded square headed windows
each with 3 cusped lights. Holdmoulded rose window in east
gable apex with finial cross above and 2 small flanking windows
below. Bellcote at W gable; slate roof.
Simple interior; stained glass windows in memory of John
Stewart Dyson Perrins, 1898-1913.
Building in ecclesiastical use. Jointly vested in and used by
Church of Scotland and Free Church of Scotland. Plaque in east
gable reads; "Deo Dante Dedi. This church was built by Charles
William Dyson Perrins of Ardross as a thanks offering for the
recovery from a severe illness of his wife Catherine Christine
who laid this stone August 17 1899".
