Pair late 18th century 2-storey, 3-bay cottages of different
builds. White harled.
W cottage dated 1851; off centre door; 3 ground floor windows;
16-pane glazing; E cottage; wide 3 bays with centre door;
canted oriel window in 1st floor outer bay (1984); mainly
4-pane glazing. Boulder footings; end and ridge stacks; slate
roofs.
Site of small religious house of knights of St John of
Jerusalem close by.
Temple pier below cottages served ferry across bay to Urquhart
Castle, active before Telford bridge of c.1810 spanned R.
