Circa 1820 with earlier core, 2-storey over raised basement, 3 bays, the outer wide with full height bows. Coursed rubble, finely tooled ashlar dressings. Centre door approached by flight steps oversailing raised basement, with engaged Roman Doric columns and triglyph cornice; fanlight and panelled door. Bowed bays each with 3 windows;giant panelled pilasters flank bows; moulded eaves cornice, blocking course with terminal and centre urns. Tall ground floor windows, shorter in 1st with blind at inner face of bow. Symmetrical fenestration at rear, with small inserted 1st floor window and box dormer. 12-pane glazing. End stacks; piended platform slate roof.
Interior; curved cantilevered stair in centre rear, flanked by pair round-headed niches half-way up; pilastered arches on landing; decorative plaster ceiling to stairwell. Drawing and dining rooms have original panelled chair rails, doorpieces and doors; decorative plaster cornices.
Gate piers; pair plain square dressed rubble gate piers linked to similar end piers with coped, squared rubble quadrants.
The 4 urns placed at wallhead by present owner.
