Early 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay cottage. Clay and
bool walling with lime washed exterior. Centre door masked
by small later porch; 12-pane glazing. End stacks;
corrugated-iron roof.
INTERIOR: condition poor. Interesting carved and painted
coat of arms in shaped mural plaque with raised and moulded
border set above fireplace in W room.
Box bed alcove in one room.
Plaque with coat of arms and motto 'Be Traisti'. Initialled
RI (probably Robert Innes) and EE. Stars of Innes included in
armorial.
Unusually unaltered cottage.
